SNOW!! In England

It doesn't happen often, but we have snow in England. It lasted about 2-3 weeks. This is the park in front of our house.

We had a Burn's Night. Robert Burns is a famous poet in Scotland and every year they celebrate in his honor. It's like a national Scottish holiday! The YSAs ate haggis (lamb offal), neeps (mashed turnips), and tatties (mashed potatoes). Heather read the Haggis poem, we all played a word game and then danced some Scottish dances. I didn't get good pictures, but here are some of the YSAs that participated.

Little William is a topic of much attention at the Chinese group each Sunday. Here he is with Elders Taylor and Griffiths.
